Case Study: Asphaltenes in the Glauc
“We always used to be at that well blowing it down, now we haven’t touched it since you treated it” - Field Operator
The operator was having issues with a free-flowing well on a timer that wasn't producing properly. Feeling it was loaded up. they dropped a soap stick and shut it in for 24 hours. On startup, they immediately heard the soap stick arrive at the wellhead and inspected it. It was still intact and was covered in asphaltenes.
ReNuu was immediately called out and pumped 10 liters of Para-Solvent and 200 liters of paraffin micro-organisms down the tubing, shutting the well back in for 24 hours. The well had no trouble lifting fluid on startup. This project had a significantly positive ROI for the client.
